New
- OCR to PDF (new module): turns scans, photos of documents, multi-page TIFFs and scanned PDFs
into a PDF with searchable, copyable text. It straightens pages photographed at an angle or
skewed, turns upside-down pages, isolates photos and stamps and recognises text in 120
languages (Italian and English included, the others downloaded once with hash check).
Optional second reading with a local model (Ollama) for damaged prints and handwriting: the
images never leave the computer. Four ways to save: Faithful (the original, unchanged),
Compact, Black and white, Text only (the original stays intact). Text and processing log are
saved only on request.
- PDF analysis (new module): hashes, Info and XMP metadata, text statistics, page-by-page data,
structure and security, images, fonts, attachments and saved versions, with a PDF report.
- PDF comparison (new module): two PDFs word by word, with side-by-side pages, graphic
differences (stamps, signatures, images), added or removed pages, verified digital
signatures, a plain verdict, optional semantic analysis, OCR of scans and a PDF report.
- Straighten pages (PDF tools): fixes perspective and skew in a derived copy, with a log of the
transformations; the source PDF is not touched.
- Explorer (new module): folders with previews of photos (RAW and HEIC included), PDFs and
office documents; sorting by content date (capture, creation, sending), grouping by type,
folder statistics and every Probatio action on right-click. Nothing is written to the
browsed folder.
- Continuous-scroll PDF reader, with collapsible thumbnails and Inspector and a two-row toolbar.
- Analysis: internal structure of containers (OLE, ZIP, Outlook oledata.mso) with metadata and
previews of embedded documents; Windows EMF/WMF metafiles examined record by record, with the
image rebuilt.
- System tray: panel with modules, recent files, system (CPU, memory, disk) and network (public
and local IP, gateway, DNS); the right-click menu shows the same sections.
- Email viewer: message body right below the summary, source file and path.

Improvements and fixes
- PDF reading: fixed "The PDF helper produced no result" and the empty panels that appeared
when opening a PDF (simultaneous reads swapping their answers).
- Large PDFs no longer stopped by the time limit on computers with many processors.
- PDF metadata shown as "1733 0 R" now displays its value.
- Automatic straightening only on documents: ordinary photos are no longer distorted or
rotated.
- Windows: a clear message when the antivirus or a company policy blocks a component.
- macOS 27: tray icon click and menu icons work correctly again (Tauri 2.12).
- Error reporting: with an active licence the report is linked to the account, so the user can
be assisted; file paths are masked before sending; reports that could not be sent (no
connection) go out at the next start. It can be turned off in Settings.
