Scanning

Timeline

The Timeline module lays out a scan's file events in time: content date, creation and modification, to reconstruct when things actually happened.

What it does

What the Timeline module does

Up to three events per file

Content date (only if it comes from metadata), filesystem creation and modification.

Sort and filter

From oldest to newest (or vice versa), with filters by event type.

Grouping by day

Events are grouped by day; for the content date the source is shown.

Step by step

How it works

  1. Select a scan from the inventory.
  2. Probatio builds the events from the saved data and orders them chronologically.
  3. Filters and grouping help you read the sequence.
